About the Instructor:

Ralph Salvagno, MD is an orthopedic surgeon with more than 37 years of experience caring for patients with joint, sports, and traumatic injuries. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 7,000 joint replacements and thousands of additional orthopedic procedures. Today, Dr. Salvagno focuses on non-surgical orthopedic care, independent medical evaluations, and developing innovative programs that improve patient outcomes in workers’ compensation and liability cases. He brings a practical, evidence-based approach to both clinical care and medical-legal work, with a commitment to helping nurses, case managers, and other professionals navigate the complexities of treatment, recovery, and return-to-work planning.
